In this episode, we are joined by Rendrick Taylor who is an Assistant Strength Coach at Middle Tennessee State University. Rendrick coached and played at Clemson University, in addition to being an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Bucs. When his playing career was over, Rendrick decided to become a teacher, but slowly realized that his classroom had turned into a weight room, and being a strength coach was how he was going to provide value. Rendrick speaks about that transition, how to manage fatigue in baseball players, specific tests that can be used to evaluate how certain metrics correlate to on-field performance, and how his methods have created a partnership between himself and his players.
